Norway by sea
This year we tried something completely different and spent our vacation on a cruise ship. Our journey started, however with a trainride to Hamburg, where we spent a fun weekend sightseeing. From there, we went aboard the AIDAblu on a 10-day cruise up an into the west norwegian fjordlands. The weather was,… well I guess „norwegianlike“ would describe it best, but I think that made the trip even more interesting. Besides one foggy day of low clouds, we had good views of almost all of the landscape. We even had a perfectly sunny day in Bergen, which is the rain capital of Europe. Our trip took us to some really amazing places like Stavanger, where we took a day trip to the Prekistolen. Other ports included Eidfjord, Molde, Trondheim, Alesund and the world famous Geiranger.
